Our team has successfully completed the demanding zero-cycle phase at the construction site of the PORTA office building in Moscow's business center, ahead of schedule. The stylobate part of the complex, comprising two underground floors and covering a total area of more than 9250 m², has been constructed. The total volume of concrete poured exceeded 10,250 m³.
It is crucial to highlight that the successful completion of this stage ensures a strong and stable foundation for the future structure, essential for its long-term reliability and safety. The work was carried out under challenging conditions, with the presence of a bracing system for the retaining wall made of bored piles adding complexity.
Now that the foundation and underground part of the complex are completed, a new phase begins – the construction of the monolithic frame for the above-ground 17-story part of the building. Currently, work is underway on the columns and shear walls of the third-floor core.
The inclusion of an integrated transformer substation and numerous engineering communications, which will ensure the building's functionality and comfort for its visitors, demands meticulous attention at every stage.
The building will begin to take its architectural shape in the fourth quarter of 2024, with the completion of monolithic work expected by the New Year holidays. The complex is scheduled to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2025.
